New to Etterna, I've used Stepmania prior. Why do my noteskins from Stepmania not work in etterna?

Do animations for notes work differently?

stepmania noteskins use a function of defining animations known as cmd. etterna does not support this function, and opts to use a number of other functions which arent too important to get into here. You can use the tool that poco posted on your noteskin to automatically convert it to using cmd alternatives that etterna approves of, and theres a good chance it will work.
