Does multiplayer force you to play the same difficulty as the person choosing the song?
Is it possible to play with different difficulties?
Yes, it does. Usually people want that (I think) so it’s the default. You can customize what’s enforced in your room with these commands:
/selectionmode n
/free (Anyone can pick, otherwise only host)
/freerate (Toggles “each person can pick any rate they want” (Otherwise its enforced))
In particular i think youre looking for /selectionmode 2. If you do /selectionmode it should give a list of commands.
