I would like to update my Etterna client, but on the notes for the update, it says: backup your saves. What does this mean?
There is literally a directory in your Etterna folder called /saves/. You can zip this folder up and put it somewhere to ensure nothing happens to it when updating. This folder contains your replays and profile information.
It’s unlikely you’ll run into problems, but it is always mentioned because if it ever were to screw up somehow, your info could basically be gone forever.
